We welcome you to stay at the farm as long as you would like during business hours.

We have created an area when guests may shop for pumpkins without needing a ticket to get in. This pumpkins only area will have a separate entrance with access to a variety pumpkins, squash, gourds, Indian corn and straw bales.

No, children 3 & under are FREE and do not need a ticket.

We are not open to the public in the summer but do offer field trips and event rentals by reservation only.

No, we no longer raise cattle and we have never sold meat direct to the consumer. We occasionally get this question and we are not familiar with the people who are selling the meat.

Safety of our staff and customers is of the highest priority here at the farm. We do our best to stay open during advertised hours but sometimes mother nature does not cooperate with us. When considering closing, we look at road conditions, temperature and the level of mud on the property. Please keep in mind that on a day following a storm it may be warm and dry on the paved roads but very muddy on the farm. Our parking lot, main yard and all wagon trails are dirt and/or gravel. Sometimes it is not safe to run our wagons in the mud and we may choose to close part or all of the farm’s activities until conditions improve. We will post any closures on our website and Facebook page as soon as any closure is determined.

No, dogs and other animals of any kind are prohibited on farm grounds with the exception of certified service dogs. Please be mindful of the danger of leaving pets in your vehicle while visiting our farm.

The Anderson Family purchased Anderson Farms in 1958. This was a trade for land that the state took from their farm, about 9 miles north, to put in I-25. The crops grown on the farm are wheat, barley, hay, corn for cattle, and pumpkins. In 1997 Jim Anderson opened up the farm for hayrides to the pumpkin patch. Two years later in 1999, he created the first corn maze in Colorado! From there, he built Anderson Farms into an agri-tourism business including an annual Fall Festival with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, haunted wagon ride, zombie paintball and more!. Jim’s daughter Rachelle joined the business in 2007 and has been serving as the Operations Manager. Many other family members have put time into the farm over the years including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and more. This truly is a family farm! Visit the About Us page to learn more.

No, we do not offer any field trip discounts for Title I Schools. Instead, we offer Value Day pricing the first few weeks of the season. Please book your group on a Value Day to receive the best pricing.

We highly recommend checking out our Homeschool Days option. This option allows your group to experience the field trip activities without the requirement of everyone showing up at the same time. You also get unlimited barrel train and pedal kart rides which are not included in a regular field trip. There are no regular field trips scheduled on the days.

We allow two schools/classes to book in each 15-minute time slot. This time slot is for when your field trip class time will start. Please arrive early to ensure you are ready to go at your scheduled time.

We never want to be closed, but fall weather can bring rain or snow. The parking lot and yard are dirt so wet weather can create mud which can be unsafe for customers and staff. If we decide to close, we will contact you right away and attempt to reschedule. We will also post weather updates in our Twitter feed, here on our website, and on our Facebook page.

Yes, but keep in mind that they may have to stand in line. This could delay your group’s start time if they do not arrive early enough.

No, bus drivers do not have to pay. Any bus driver not participating in a fall field trip will be given a coupon for a free drink in the concessions area to enjoy while waiting for their group. During the spring and summer months we do not have our concessions stand open. The closest option for food is the truck stop on Highway 52 and I-25.

Yes, all paying members for the pumpkin patch or combo field trip will receive one small pumpkin to take home. If you want a larger one you must pay for it.

Yes, during Fall Festival we also have our concessions stand open. In the spring and summer we do not offer any food options.

Field trips are welcome to bring their own lunch. Let our staff know and we will help you get it to the right place!

No, field trips are available by reservation only Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

All children age 2 and older must pay for a field trip.

YES all parents, siblings (2 & older) and chaperones must pay. All school staff may enter free with current school ID.

The pedal karts are not included in the field trip rate. However, you may purchase a ticket for $1.00 per person per ride at the ticket booth. This applies to fall field trips only and is not available as an option in the spring.

Field Trips are for groups of 15 or more and require 48 hours advance reservations.

Terror in the Corn admission will include Fall Festival admission, however to Covid-19 crowd restrictions, you will only be allowed in 3 hours earlier than the time listed on your ticket.  If you would like to enter the farm earlier in the day, you will need to purchase an additional Fall Festival admission for the time you would like to enter the farm.

No, our wagons have wood bench seating.

Terror in the Corn is inside the admission area so there is not a way to separate the ticket. We feel that the Terror in the Corn ticket is worth the price on its own. Fall Festival is just a bonus!

No, pumpkins are not included in admission. They range in price from $2 – $12 depending on the size.

No, anyone who wants to participate in a campfire or pavilion rental must purchase admission to the farm.

Yes, we charge a general admission to enter the grounds. This is for everyone age 4 and older no matter how many or few activities you plan to participate in.

A refund for your campfire site or Pavilion Rental booking will only be issued if cancellation is received at least 48 hours in advance or Anderson Farms closes the day of your scheduled event.

You may bring in outside food and drinks however, we do not allow alcohol. Coolers are subject to search.

We accept cash, business checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Sorry, no personal checks. An ATM is available in the General Store during Fall Festival.

Yes, strollers are allowed in the maze. But, be aware that the ground is dirt, it is not flat and it can be muddy.

No, the maze is NEVER haunted. However, beware of the customers that are trying to haunt the maze at night. Terror in the Corn and Zombie Paintball Hunt are in a separate cornfield.

Yes! It is only lit by moonlight so be sure to bring a flashlight!

As long as you want! It can around two hours to complete the entire maze if you are good at reading maps. There are four sections of varied sizes so that you can choose to do one of more of the sections to fit your skill level. Farm Scene Investigation and Farms Scene Tracks are in the smallest sections and will take significantly less time to complete.

Each maze contains 6 numbered stations that correspond to the numbered boxes at the bottom of the maze map that you receive at the ticket booth. When you arrive at a maze station, use the paper punch attached to the post to punch the correct box on your map. Race other members of your party to complete all the punches! The maze consists of 4 separate mazes. Together they total over 8 miles of trail across 25 acres. To put that into perspective, an acre is a little smaller than a football field!

We debate the design of the maze every year for about 6 months, and then we let Jim Anderson have his way. Our maze designer, Shawn Stolworthy of Mazeplay in Firth, ID comes out to our farm every year in early June and cuts the maze. Shawn is the person with the GPS technical know-how to actually get the maze designed and cut when the corn is 6” tall. He puts the GPS system on his tractor and goes to work. It takes only ONE day to cut our 25-acre corn maze with its 9 miles of trail!!
