FSI: Farm Scene Investigation
Recommended for Elementary School Ages
Farmer Joe is missing. There was an accident, and it appears to be foul play. There are seven farm animal suspects that we need you to investigate. Collect the evidence to find the weapon, the suspect, and the location where the crime took place. You will find six location scenes within the corn maze. At each scene you will find an animal, weapon and location to eliminate. Punch your card to keep track of your clues. Hurry! Solve the mystery. Put the guilty farm animal behind bars and save farmer Joe.
The FSI game can be played in the tipi shaped maze and is included in corn maze field trip.
The Farm Scene Tracks:
Recommended for ages 2 – 8 years old.
Last night six farm animals snuck into the house and stole Farmer Joe’s apple pie. Farmer Joe chased the animals into the corn maze. He needs you to go into the corn maze and find the tracks. Place the rubbing paper over the track, and use a crayon to rub the track onto the paper. Once you have collected all six tracks come out and look at the banner to find out which animal belongs to the track. Let us know who stole the pie, so that we can catch those pie stealing animals.
Located in the Horse Head Maze – it is a short loop specifically designed for ages 2-8 but can be played by anyone. Included in the corn maze field trip.
Things to keep in mind:
Expect to spend about 2 hours* on the farm per field trip. Kids should wear clothes that can get dirty & sturdy walking shoes. Mother Nature dictates the conditions at the farm, so please advise students to prepare accordingly.
*Note: To avoid crowds we recommend booking your group to come in September or early October. Mondays & Tuesdays are also generally slower days. Also, please note that on busy days you may be assigned to the grassy area instead of a picnic shelter.
Options:
- Add the Barnyard 500 Pedal Karts or the Barrel Train for $1.00 per person, per ride. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth.
- Lunch facilities available, large bus parking area, playground available after your tour
